Here is a copy of the “Global Warming Mitigation Act of 2007“, authored by Senator Ellen Anderson (DFL- St. Paul) this year. I expect that the Senate will consider this bill later this session.

I have been researching the topic of Global Warming for about a week. It’s amazing how much information can be found on the internet.

I found one Web Site which links to dozens of articles, studies, and political commentary on the global warming issue. (Here is the Link), called the “Global Warming Skeptic”. For those of you who are interested, …. or skeptical, check out this site.

Here is a Link to a good article about Dr. Richard Lindzen, from MIT, who is also a global warming skeptic.

Richard Lindzen, a climate physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, believes this explosion of interest (in global warming) amounts to “baseless alarmism”.

I also thought it was interesting, that Dr. Claude Allegre, a well known French climate scientist, and one of the first advocates of the global warming theory, has changed his position, and has become a doubtful skeptic. (Here is the link to a recent article which describes Dr.Allegre’s change of heart).

The article states:

Claude Allegre’s break with what he now sees as environmental cant on climate change came in September, in an article entitled “The Snows of Kilimanjaro” in l’ Express, the French weekly. His article cited evidence that Antarctica is gaining ice and that Kilimanjaro’s retreating snow caps, among other global-warming concerns, come from natural causes. “The cause of this climate change is unknown,” he states matter of factly. There is no basis for saying, as most do, that the “science is settled.”

I’ll keep posting other interesting Links and articles, as I find them. As always, I invite comments from those who disagree with me and other skeptics.
